The purpose of this project is for you to be imaginative and to use your creativity and ability to design a
building that is suitable for a specific environmental context. The building object needs to work and adapt to different scales to transform its function in accordance with a specific scale. Therefore, in-depth research into natures patterns and shapes and the reinterpretation into a 3d module. Iterations and style are crucial to the process.
You will be asked to design articulating between different scales. Our starting point will be understanding nature’s forms to develop a module that can be transformed and replicated as a design language. The purpose is to design a building in a proposed scenario in relation to a specific context that will change.
The proposed design will then have to be readapted to a change of scenario due to an environmental factor. A sustainable approach to the design is a priority which can be integrated into the concept.
