The course introduces critical narratives and digital tools for architecture and design. Echoing the theme of the 18th Venice Biennale, students will rethink sustainable and exchangeable contracts that define ‘the laboratory of the future.’ How can we speculate innovative retail fashion and propose scenarios that challenge traditional shopping experiences as part of retail spaces?
We won’t be thinking about traditional ways of shopping but defining the retail physical space as a hybrid between physical and online shopping experience. What is the new role of the retail space and the customer experience? We will be working with the articulation between customer, technology, and nature.
